Investigations
Clarity attorneys conduct thorough, timely, and impartial workplace misconduct investigations, often involving complex dynamics, change management opportunities, and extensive allegations. We understand that these situations need to be addressed promptly, thoroughly, and professionally by an experienced investigator. Collectively, we have conducted hundreds of investigations over more than twenty-five years.
Tara and Beth are both licensed attorneys who hold certifications from the Association of Workplace Investigators. AWI is an internationally recognized professional membership association that exists to promote and enhance the quality of workplace investigations. We have also had extensive training on matters related to investigation work, such as implicit bias, microaggressions, and trauma-informed interviewing.
We have the depth and skill to handle investigations in any type of workplace. In the private sector, our investigation experience ranges from internationally known software corporations with thousands of employees to technology startups with a dozen employees. We have served businesses in the food and service industry, banking, construction, and manufacturing, the automobile industry, the cold-packing industry, in the health care and medical billing industries, and a variety of not-for-profit businesses.
In the public sector, we have experience conducting investigations involving elected officials, law enforcement and criminal justice agencies, fire departments, court officials, public health and medical entities, port authorities, counties, cities, and a wide variety of state agencies. As such, we understand the unique challenges that arise when public records, media scrutiny, and political dynamics may be involved.
Clarity also has experience conducting investigations for educational institutions, including public and private K-12 schools and universities, community colleges, technical colleges, and high schools throughout the state.
